Business Process Management
What is BPM?
In the current world of complex business processes and global resource management, managing businesses becomes a challenge. Organizations need to be re-architeted to approach the solutions through easy to deploy and manage Business processes rather than tightly coupled technology and businesses strategic components. Traditional Industrial organizations were managed by analyzing organizations through functional components and then converting the coarse grained functional components to fine grained components and then eventually to task items for day-day business activities. In BPM, organizational architecture is designed by converting the high level business functions to individual business & functional components and then aggregating the business and functional components to co-ordinated process called Business Processes that runs across multiple domain, business and process groups.
